| Job Description: |
| The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics/ Electrical / Telecoms Engineering/Computer Science.
- Have 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Job Description:
- Supervise the core network elements in real time as well as through periodic reporting.
- Liaison with field staff of operations/outsourced vendors for rectification of issues.
- Escalate the issues to technical management in timely manner in compliance with escalation matrix and strong follow up till resolution of issues.
- Convey the outages (planned and unplanned) to CS and keep them posted with the updates on major network issues.
- Perform routine health checks and ensure any abnormalities are communicated to concerned departments for permanent fix.
- Liaison with relevant level-2 teams of respective domains for unresolved issues and follow up with them till the issues are fixed.
- Maintain log of important events and keep updating the trouble tickets and alarms with required contents like reasons, history etc.
- Ensure in coordination with other departments that required SLAs are met in service assurance areas and customers are served with the best network quality.
- Prepare the shift handover report for particular team and submit for consolidated shift report.
- Highlight the network visibility issues and work in coordination with vendor and level-2 teams to make sure maximum network visibility.
- Ensure alarm reporting for certain events as per information and requirement coming from operations team.
Essential Skills:
- In-depth understanding of Network Operations and Design.
- Updated knowledge of Industry best practices with respect to network supervision.
- Ability to correlate network degradations in a cross domain environment.

- Excellent business communication skills.
- Have sound proficient analytical skills with an aptitude to take initiatives.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Have sound co-ordination and follow up skills.
- Have the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent proficiency required in MS Office, i.e. Power Point, Excel Word, MS Project and Visio.
