Job Objective:

The main function is to plan cost optimized networks and re-engineer existing networks. The planning includes network topology, routing tables and dimensioning of trunk groups.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Core Network Design/Dev, VAS/IN, GPRS, OM, BSS, GRRA, IT, Ericsson, Huawei, OMO, OLO and others deemed necessary to complete the Core Network Planning activities.

Daily traffic updates and traffic forecasting based on the current utilization on every route.

To check the other land operators routes and propose E1 expansion and follow up with Transmission planning for getting media from other operators and finally coordinate E1 expansion activity with the concerned department/operator.

To coordinate with OM for the verification/creation of the numbering series and its routing for the other operators and to resolve no dialing complaints received from customer complaint Deptt. regarding PTCL/other operators.

Generate weekly network performance report and send it to AM Optimization for further submission and evaluation.

Preparation and implementation of Warid numbering plan as well as other operators in the network.

Preparation of core network plan for different core network relate activities.
