| Job Description: |
- Design, code, test and debug complex native mobile applications using NativeScript and Angular 2+.
- Develop new functionality and enhancements to satisfy internal and external customer requirements
- Collaborate with the QA team and other engineers to continuously improve and expand all levels of testing efforts, methods, automation and processes.
- Author and maintain detailed specifications and documentation from which applications and APIs will be written, designed, coded, tested.
- Make recommendations and influence engineering processes, methods and DevOps.
- Provide operational support on complex/escalated issues to diagnose and resolve incidents in production systems. Incidents tend to be fewer but more complex, requiring analysis of issues, determination of additional resources to resolve the issue, and an in-depth system perspective.In addition to the Essential Functions, perform similar work-related duties as assigned.
- NativeScript experience highly desired (or similar framework), preferably with Angular 2+
- Materially participated in the release and/or support of at least 1 publicly available app to the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store
- Expertise with HTML5, CSS3, polyfills, Javascript, REST API's
- Understanding of mobile device storage and GPS / geofencing
- Experience with asynchronous and multithreaded programming
- Good understanding of UX/UI principles a plus
- Exposure to Jira and GIT/Azure DevOps a plus
- Azure or similar cloud platform experience a plus
- Secure coding practices and experience in a highly secure or regulated industry (healthcare, finance, defense) a plus.
